The A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) football defeated the visiting West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 38-27 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wonders face the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 25. A.L. Brown will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 21-0 non-league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Davie (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Davie was toppled by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 31-24, in a non-league bout.
