North Carolina High School Football - Northwest Cabarrus trounces West Rowan

September 29, 2023: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125

In Friday's league match, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans football squad scored a big 49-9 victory over the West Rowan Falcons.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A match, on Friday, October 6. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 12-9 league win over Concord (Concord, NC).

The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs enter the South Piedmont 3A match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Robinson routed East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 49-0, in a league match.
