The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) football routed the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 49-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 3. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 57-13 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
