North Carolina High School Football - East Rowan felled by Central Cabarrus
October 6, 2023: Concord, NC 28025 The East Rowan Mustangs football team (Salisbury, NC), was knocked off 34-23 in Friday's league challenge with the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC)
The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the South Piedmont 3A challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, West Rowan was knocked off by Robinson (Concord, NC), 59-7, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Friday, October 13. East Rowan will meet a Cougars team coming off a 37-0 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
