The Hillcrest Trojans football team (Riverside, CA), was beaten 14-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA)

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Arlington (Riverside, CA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Arlington was beaten by Western Christian (Upland, CA), 37-23, in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Redlands for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Hillcrest will meet a Terriers team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Citrus Hill (Perris, CA). The Terriers record now stands at 1-0.
