Georgia High School Softball - East Laurens held off by Vidalia
August 18, 2025: Vidalia, GA 30474 In Monday's non-league test, the Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) softball squad got by the visiting East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA), by a margin of 6-5.
The Indians now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Toombs County for a 1A D-I Region 3 outing on Tuesday, August 19. Vidalia will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, East Laurens drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Central (Macon, GA) to clash with the Chargers in a 1A D-I Region 2 test on Tuesday, August 19. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 1-0. Central won 15-3 in their recent non-league test against Rutland (Macon, GA)
