With the triumph, Estill County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Engineers host South Laurel (London, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-1. South Laurel lost 43-7 in their recent non-league test against Harlan County (Harlan, KY)
With the loss, Powell County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Breathitt County (Jackson, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, August 26. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. Breathitt County won 43-0 in their recent non-league test against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
