August 19, 2025: Savannah, GA 31406 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA), saw Jenkins's volleyball squad notch a victory over Memorial Day by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Jenkins improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Warriors host Groves (Garden City, GA) to encounter the Rebels in a 3A Area 3 battle on Thursday, August 21. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Groves lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)
The Matadors now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coastal HomeSchool for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. Memorial Day will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-5.
