Georgia High School Softball - Wesleyan bounces Banks County
August 20, 2022: Norcross, GA 30092 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) and the visiting Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), witnessed Wesleyan's softball squad tip Banks County by a count of 9-3.
The Wolves now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Pickens for a 3A Region 7 match on Monday, August 22. Wesleyan will face a Dragons squad coming off a 13-1 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Banks County moves to 3-5 on the season. The Leopards host Chamblee (Chamblee, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, August 20. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 6-1. Chamblee won 20-0 in their recent league match against Lithonia (Lithonia, GA)
