Georgia High School Softball - White County knocked off by Wesleyan
August 30, 2022: Cleveland, GA 30528 In Tuesday's league contest, the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) softball team overwhelmed the host White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Wesleyan moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Wolves host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to play the Indians in a 3A Region 7 contest on Thursday, September 1. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Lumpkin County won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Pickens (Jasper, GA)
In their next game, the Warriors play the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a 3A Region 7 contest, on Thursday, September 1. White County will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 10-3 league loss to Gilmer (Ellijay, GA).
