Georgia High School Softball - Wesleyan bounces Gilmer
August 25, 2022: Ellijay, GA 30540 The Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) softball routed the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 12-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wolves (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against White County (Cleveland, GA). The Warriors go into the 3A Region 7 bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, White County toppled Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 4-2, in a league game.
In their next game, the Bobcats play the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a 3A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, August 30. Gilmer will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, GA).
