The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) volleyball overcame the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Dickinson (Dickinson, TX) to play the Gators in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 20. The Gators go into the outing with a record of 8-7. Dickinson won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against La Porte (La Porte, TX)
