In Tuesday's non-league match, the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Lake Hornets (Lake, MS), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 22. Newton County will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record.
