North Carolina High School Soccer - Forbush nudges Newton-Conover
August 20, 2025: Newton, NC 28658 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Forbush Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Newton-Conover Red Devils.
With the triumph, Forbush advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Watauga lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Hickory (Hickory, NC)
The Red Devils now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Challenger for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21.
