The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to El Camino for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22.

With the loss, Helix drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Mission Bay (San Diego, CA) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26.
