August 21, 2025: Lenoir, NC 28645 The Hibriten Panthers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Freedom Patriots to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Foard for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Hibriten will play a Tigers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Freedom falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, August 25. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 2-0. Patton 2-2 in their recent non-league game against Polk County (Columbus, NC)
