The Columbus Blue Devils volleyball squad (Columbus, GA), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Central Lions (Carrollton, GA)

With the win, Central improves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Lions host Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA) to meet the Lions in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 9-2. Hebron Christian won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA)

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Columbus will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA).
