August 22, 2023: Mt. Holly, NC 28120 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Union Academy Cardinals.
The Raptor (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, August 23. Union Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).
