The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH) and the visiting Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH), saw Brookfield's volleyball squad beat Mathews by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Brookfield upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors host Champion (Warren, OH) to play the Golden Flashes in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey bout on Thursday, August 24. The Golden Flashes go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Champion won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Windham (Windham, OH)
