August 22, 2023: Braidwood, IL 60408 Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers (Gardner, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Comets battle the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 23. Reed-Custer will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Streator (Streator, IL).
With the loss, Gardner-South Wilmington drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, August 24.
