Mississippi High School Volleyball - Picayune crushed by West Harrison
August 22, 2023: Gulfport, MS 39503 The West Harrison Hurricanes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Picayune Maroon Tide to 0 in the Hurricanes league victory on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George County for a Class 5 Region 8 game on Thursday, August 24. West Harrison will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hancock (Kiln, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 2-3.
The Maroon Tide (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS). The Panthers enter the Class 6 Region 7 game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Pascagoula dropped by Long Beach (Long Beach, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
