The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) and the host Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), saw Bishop Guilfoyle's football team gain a win over Penns Valley Area by a final score of 42-18.

With the win, Bishop Guilfoyle advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Marauders host Richland (Johnstown, PA) to confront the Rams in a Laurel Highlands match on Saturday, August 30. The Rams enter the match with a record of 1-0. Richland won 21-6 in their recent league match against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA)

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands match, on Friday, August 29. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 21-6 league loss to Richland (Johnstown, PA).
