The Wister Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and restricted the visiting Kiowa Cowboys to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Latta Panthers (Ada, OK) in a 2A challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Wister will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Roff (Roff, OK).

The Cowboys (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Savanna (Savanna, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record.
