With the triumph, Latta improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Panthers host Wister (Wister, OK) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A match on Saturday, August 23. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 6-2. Wister won 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Kiowa (Kiowa, OK)
In their next game, the Cowboys battle the Haileyville Warriors (Haileyville, OK) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 25. Kiowa will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Cameron (Cameron, OK).
