The Panthers (18-8) will now prepare for their bout against Hobart (Hobart, OK). The Bearcats go into the 2A bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Hobart tipped Hooker (Hooker, OK), 10-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Roff Tigers (Roff, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 20. Howe will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 19-10 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Turner (Burneyville, OK).
