McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellowjackets (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Arab (Arab, AL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Arab was beaten by Priceville (Priceville, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, AL).
