August 23, 2024: Leola, SD 57456 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) and the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), witnessed Leola/Frederick's football squad wallop Redfield by a tally of 60-7.
The Titans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Britton-Hecla was trounced by Hamlin (Hayti, SD), 52-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Pheasants confront the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats (Kimball, SD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 30. Redfield will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Wildkats enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 20-0 non-league win over DeSmet (DeSmet, SD).
