In Friday's non-league game, the Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) football team triumphed over the visiting Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ), by a tally of 32-0.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Crismon Rattlers (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 30. Thatcher will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Rattlers enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 34-7 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ).
