Georgia High School Softball - Apalachee bounces Commerce
August 23, 2024: Commerce, GA 30529 The Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) softball routed the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), 8-1 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hebron Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, August 23. Apalachee will encounter a Lions team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Lions record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Commerce moves to 3-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 4-3. Westlake lost 13-11 in their recent non-league outing against Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA)
