Georgia High School Softball - Prince Avenue Christian bounces Apalachee
August 19, 2024: Winder, GA 30680 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) and the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), observed Prince Avenue Christian's softball team notch a victory over Apalachee by a final score of 14-4.
The Wolverines (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Winder-Barrow gained a win over Apalachee (Winder, GA), 10-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a 5A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, August 20. Apalachee will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 8-5 non-league win over George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA).
