Georgia High School Softball - Prince Avenue Christian sneaks past Winder-Barrow
August 20, 2024: Winder, GA 30680 The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) softball nipped the host Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Wolverines now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Banks County for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. Prince Avenue Christian will encounter a Leopards team coming off a 8-0 league win over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Winder-Barrow moves to 1-6 on the season. The Bulldoggs travel to Alcovy (Covington, GA) to encounter the Tigers in a 5A Region 8 outing on Thursday, August 22. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Alcovy lost 9-4 in their recent league outing against Apalachee (Winder, GA)
