West Virginia High School Soccer - Lincoln toppled by Frankfort
August 23, 2025: Shinnston, WV 26431 Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Frankfort moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Moorefield (Moorefield, WV) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a Potomac Valley outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Yellow Jackets go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cougars confront the South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV) in a Little Kanawha - North outing, on Monday, August 25. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV).
