August 23, 2025: Paris, KY 40361 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Russell Red Devils volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Bourbon County Colonels.
Next up, the Red Devils face the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Russell will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).
The Colonels (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the District 40 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Montgomery County beat Paris (Paris, KY), 3-1, in a league outing.
