Georgia High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon tips Gainesville
August 23, 2025: Gainesville, GA 30501 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Gainesville Red Elephants.
The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Pius X Catholic nudged North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Red Elephants (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Columbus (Columbus, GA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Columbus was edged by Central (Carrollton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
