North Carolina High School Soccer - South Point knocks off East Gaston
August 24, 2023: Belmont, NC 28012 South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Raiders confront the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 30. South Point will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
The Warriors now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huss for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 28. East Gaston will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chase (Forest City, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
