Kentucky High School Soccer - Barren County nudges Nelson County
August 24, 2024: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Barren County Trojans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Nelson County Cardinals to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trojans now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Glasgow for a District 15 bout on Monday, August 26. Barren County will play a Scotties squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Nelson County moves to 1-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to DeSales (Louisville, KY) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Monday, August 26. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 2-2. DeSales lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY)
