Nebraska High School Softball - Millard West bounces Elkhorn South
August 24, 2024: Omaha, NE 68135 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Millard West Wildcats softball team scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Elkhorn South Storm.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks go into the A District match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Lincoln Southwest tipped Norfolk (Norfolk, NE), 3-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Storm battle the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE) in a A District match, on Tuesday, August 27. Elkhorn South will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Monarchs go into the match with a 3-0 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Marian (Omaha, NE).
