The Elkhorn South Storm softball squad (Omaha, NE), was routed 12-9 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE)

With the triumph, Millard North improves its record to 30-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE) to face the Silver Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 16. The Silver Hawks enter the contest with a record of 34-3. Lincoln Southwest won 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Westview (Omaha, NE)

The Storm now hold a 19-12 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue East for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 17. Elkhorn South will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 23-8.
