In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Buna Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Diboll Lumberjacks.

The Cougars (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Nederland went down by Tatum (Tatum, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarkington for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29.
