Virginia High School Volleyball - Chantilly can't get by McLean
August 25, 2025: McLean, VA 22101 McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, McLean improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Oakton (Vienna, VA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-0. Oakton won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
Next, the Chargers meet the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Chantilly will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over South Lakes (Reston, VA).
