August 26, 2022: Nebo, NC 28761 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs (Nebo, NC) and the visiting Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC), saw Nebo Crossing Academy's volleyball squad beat Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Nebo Crossing Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Challenger (Hickory, NC) to play the Firebirds in a Western Piedmont Athletic bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Crusaders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Victory Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont Athletic bout on Friday, September 2. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will play a Patriots squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.
