The Rio Linda Knights football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Fighting Zebras to 13 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.

The Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Rio Linda will play a Lancers squad coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Fighting Zebras play the Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 1. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 35-14 non-league win over West Park (Roseville, CA).
