South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, South County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Stallions travel to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to face the Bruins in a Patriot test on Tuesday, September 3. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McLean for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Meridian will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
