Georgia High School Softball - Pickens bounces White County
August 26, 2025: Jasper, GA 30143 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) and the visiting White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA), observed Pickens's softball team get by White County by a tally of 6-0.
The Dragons (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The War Eagles go into the 3A Region 6 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Chestatee nudged Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA), 20-1, in a non-league contest.
The Warriors now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Lumpkin County for a 3A Region 6 contest on Thursday, August 28. White County will face a Indians squad coming off a 5-3 league win over North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Indians record now stands at 9-2.
