Georgia High School Softball - Chestatee topped by Pickens
September 18, 2025: Jasper, GA 30143 Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), 8-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Pickens betters its record to 12-4 on the season. The Dragons host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to confront the Indians in a 3A Region 6 match on Tuesday, September 23. The Indians come into the match with a record of 15-7. Lumpkin County won 6-5 in their recent league match against White County (Cleveland, GA)
In their next game, the War Eagles confront the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 22. Chestatee will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 1-10 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to East Hall (Gainesville, GA).
