Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN), 3-2 in a non-league outing.

The now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Battle Creek for a AA District 8 outing on Tuesday, September 2. Central Magnet will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TN). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Forrest drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Tullahoma lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Columbia Central (Columbia, TN)
