The Curry Yellowjackets (Jasper, AL) volleyball held off the visiting Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Mortimer Jordan for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Curry will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-3.

The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Lauderdale County held off Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL), 2-1, in a non-league match.
