In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Central Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Curry Yellowjackets.

The Wildcats (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL). The Makos enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Orange Beach got by Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kate Duncan Smith DAR for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Curry will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 8-9.
