August 27, 2025: Newton Falls, OH 44444 The Newton Falls Tigers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Memorial Red Devils to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. Newton Falls will play a Quakers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Quakers record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Memorial moves to 3-1 on the year. The Red devils host LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH) to face the Vikings in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game on Wednesday, September 3. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 1-2.
