Georgia High School Softball - Walnut Grove topped by Morgan County
August 27, 2025: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 15-5 in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Westside was routed by Central (Macon, GA), 18-0, in a non-league outing.
With the loss, Walnut Grove moves to 4-4 on the season. The Warriors host Eastside (Covington, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a 4A Region 8 outing on Thursday, August 28. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 5-0. Eastside won 8-0 in their recent league outing against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
